We did predict the size of the wildfire, but the data available on kaggle was limited. We could get alternate data sources like weather, events, etc to add to the feature set of the data and improve the efficiency of the model.

The blog post is also to show how easy it is to use PyTorch Lightning and it can be scaled to use-cases like this which would be helpful for the United Nations.
